Prom night! Who could have guessed prom night was drawing closer by a day? Who could have known that one would go shopping for a dress or suit, accessories, reasearching for possible hairstyles for that night? Who could have known that prom night could be such a BLAST?!
Yesterday at 3pm, we were on our way to the parlor to get my hair and make-up done. Just this once I resisted the urge to wipe off the paint on my face (I hate make-up). My hair was done, it was a little curly on the edges and above it, my hair was fxed into a bobbing French twist (it could have been a French twist, but it didn't turn into a bun).
I met up with my "escort". His name is Sam and he's from another school. He just had their prom not so long ago. I thanked him profusely for sacrificing his rest day to be there with me. He arrived by taxi and with my mom, we went to the clubhouse (he gave me a gift! Weeee!). Sam and I have been bestfriends for a long time now. We act like silly kids when we're together. Just like me and Mitch.
Upon arriving, we met up with the group. Saw familiar faces and laughed at some of the dresses that some girls were wearing (we were having fun describing one particular dress. He implied that she looks like she's wearing a bib). Some guys looked like bodyguards! They were wearing sunglasses and had their serious looks on.
After chatting with the guys, Sam told me not to leave him since he's from another school. I promised and he pulled me to the entrance. We registered and waited in line to have our pictures taken. After that, we went upstairs which happened to be cooler than the lobby.
We met up with Mitch and had a chat about you-know-who. Sam laughed about our topic. We went to Mitch's table and I gave out a shout! Ellen was so HAWT! She was wearing a tube! I didn't even recognize her the moment I walked in!
Moving our way to our table, Sam surprised me by pulling the chair out for me.
0--------DISCO---------0
The lords and ladies of the night danced first. After the first song was played (which was pretty corny and not one of the songs we selected), Sam pulled me out of my seat and danced with me (this guy's so full of surprises). He even lifted my arms to place them around his neck! We both laughed and mouthed to each other, "CORNY!" I thanked him again for everthing and he offered me a hug (were friends, its normal). When the music started pumping, all the guys went wild! The whole group was there, dancing to the music. Sir Nitz was also there to show us some of his moves (he's a good dancer).
After the disco, we took pictures and went home. That night was one of the most memorable nights of my life! I wish i could upload the pictures we took last night, but my blog will not allow it.
That's all for now! Ta-ta!
