The Intramurals!

Written 6 years ago...

The funny thing that I noticed about the Intramurals is that its when great things happen. New things are discovered both emotional and physical (you're good in sports for example). Well, last Friday was really awesome! We met up with an old friend in grade school. He was my best friend in the third grade and still is until now. His name is ***, and as years went by, a silly girl (like me) starts to develop some feelings for him... so, let's cut to the chase!

We haven't seen each other for about nine months since our last meeting which was on my thirteenth birthday. I don't know what he might look like and you can't imagine how shocked I was by his sudden change in appearance! We met at the gate and found out that he wasn't allowed to enter the campus grounds since of course he wasn't an alumni and that he was from another school (discrimination). The group got so angry about it and to add insult to injury, we were called for a basketball rematch against Arrupe (they already lost by one point the previous day). So, we had to answer the call leaving him behind in the hands of my other friends who were his friends too. Some time later, they managed to get him inside, only they wouldn't tell me how!

The day was perfect! We had so much fun (except the fact that we lost to Arrupe), we cried about it, since it was our only hope of winning at least one game... he cheered me up, that's why he's my best friend. I also figured out that I don't feel the same way as I did whenever I'm with him, so that's a good thing... right? Well, we then gathered in the covered courts for the dance sports competition (after checking some examination papers), hoping to see the star of the moment (Ate Mel). The dancers were awesome! We also saw Kuya Ernie and Kuya Ed, but most of all... we saw Ate Mel! She was dressed in a whiter glittering dress and her head had glitters on it, like she was wearing a tiara or something! She dances really well!

Even the judges can't top that! The judges were great together (if it was Halloween)! What really hit me, was when the female judge took off her upper garment (can't forget Kuya Ernie's expression (both hands covering face)! All the students went wild! Well, I can't say it wasn't a bit amusing actually...

Semestral break is coming up! See ya!
